On a photography front I ended up getting 2 Dell u2711’s that I love I’m waiting on an Xrite Color checker Passport & an xrite eye-one i1display 2 colour profiler. I also took the plunge and bought an NEX-5 and Canon 85mm f/1.2.

I read a while ago in your weekly that you used a program to do a complete HDD backup.
I want to backup my C drive with Xp on it to a sare HDD so that I can install Win 7.
IF things go wrong I can just just plu the old hdd and keep working with xp

Hi Steve, I have to buy a new tripod has I had to leave mine in Thailand due to having to much luggae when I left. Although it was getting old and I was wnting a better one.
Could you tell me if No1 or no2 is better in your opinion.

I use PhotoCAL to calibrate my system and have to make sure that adobe gama is not in the startup folder.
In Win XP installing programs like Adobe Photoshop CS2 Adobe Gama is installed in the startup folder.
